Scaffolding

Liz of Numa Court asks: "Am I the only person who objects to the scaffolding work proceeding so far ahead of the painting work?"

Funeral of Diana (Dee) Little

The funeral of Dee Little, Numa Court, will take place on Tuesday 26th September at 2.30pm at Mortlake Crematorium. Family cars will leave from Brentford Dock at 2.00p.m. All of Dee's friends are welcome to attend.

A toast to Dee will be held at her flat following the ceremony. Flowers, ideally white (Dee's preference), can be sent to Lodge Brothers & Wickenden Funeral Directors, 44/45 Half Acre, Brentford, Middlesex TW8 8BH. Tel: 020 8560 7499 or donations can be made online on the Donate In Memory page of Cancer Research UK, or cheques can be made payable to Cancer Research UK and be handed to Dee's daughter, Della, to forward on to the charity.

Car Blocks Justin Close

A resident reports: On Wednesday morning (6th September) a waste disposal company, the council "dustmen", a scaffolding company working on Brentford Dock, and other workmen were unable to get through Justin Close as a dark blue Suzuki car, registration BG03 GNX, owned by a Nero Court resident, had parked and narrowed access to the road. A tow-away truck came, did nothing and went away as the Suzuki was not on the pavement.
